The Barefoot Mission Board

 Taylor has worked in ministry for the OP Church since 2013. She is married to her best friend, Jimmy Penrod, who partners in mission and ministry. She is passionate about seeing the church mobilize to bring restoration to their families, communities, and neighborhoods.  

Caroline does bookkeeping for US Salt, LLC. She is extremely family orientated and enjoys spending time with her husband, Dennis, and their four children. Caroline is passionate, organized, and driven. She uses her gift of numbers and organization to serve in non-profits and church initiatives. Caroline finds joy in being part of and supporting passionate and hard-working teams.  

 Sandy is a retired business owner of Penguins Florist and Brooks Publishing, that she co-owned with her late husband, Jeff. She now spends her free time serving the community with Barefoot Mission, blessing others with her gift of hospitality, and engaging in mentoring youth through the Olathe Schools lunch buddy program. She is passionate about giving everyone a place at the “table.” 

 Scott opens and directs physical therapy clinics in his position with Physical Therapy By Phoenix & Phoenix Home Care Hospice. He is married to his wife, Diadra, and they have three sons that live justice-driven lives. They actively open their home for respite care through our local foster care agency. Scott thrives by being around different types of people and perspectives.  

 Helen is a full-time college student approaching graduation. She is enthusiastic about the non-profit world and watching it change the city in positive ways. She has had the privilege of watching her father direct Dayton Moore’s foundation, C You in the Major Leagues. Helen is passionate about being surrounded by people who work to change the world for better.
